In addition to the staff members listed below, we have dedicated interns and volunteers on the team. Also, several community-based Paralegals and Civic Educators are spread out in our areas of operation to engage in community outreach and empowerment. Five are situated in Kibera and another nine are spreadout in Meru (Tigania East, Tigania West and Nithi), Nakuru, Subukia, Naivasha and Molo Constituencies.

Michael is responsible for overseeing all programs run at CREAW. He is a Lawyer with more than 6 years’ experience as a Legal Officer and Project Manager. He holds an LLB Degree from the University of Bombay, India.



dzameEvelyn Dzame - Finance Manager

Evelyn has an excellence in the Finance and Accounting field and face the challenges in the dynamic operating environment while practicing the highest level of professional integrity and ethics in the management of corporate affairs and promote prudent management systems that will achieve efficiency and effectiveness. She holds a bachelors Degree in B’Com, CPA (k) and pursuing her MBA, Finance Option

Victoria Mumbua Legal OfficerVictoria Wambua - Legal Officer

Victoria is the head of the Legal Advocacy Program and is responsible for coordinating CREAW’s team of lawyers. She has 4 years experience as a Legal Associate and Litigator.  She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, holds an LL.B from the University of Nairobi, and holds a Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.  She is also undertaking a Diploma in PR Management at the Kenya Institute of Management.

carolCarol Ng'ang'a - Program Officer (Kibera)

Carol has more than 5 years' experience working in social and refugee services.  She is responsible for coordinating the sexual and gender-based violence program at CREAW’s Kibera Outreach Office.  She graduated with her B.A. in Community Development from Daystar University.Carol is undertaking an M.A. in Rural Sociology and Community Development at the University of Nairobi.

tim Timothy Mwaura - Assistant Program Officer

Timothy works under the Community Empowerment Program. He is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and works closely with the ICT team in Press-Liaison. He holds an LLB Degree and a Diploma in Information Technology (IT). He is skilled in Lobbying and Advocacy, Community mobilisation and Resource Mobilisation.

cessCecilia Chebon - Legal Officer (Kibera)

Cecilia is the Legal Officer for the office in Kibera.  She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and handles legal issues on sexual and gender-based violence. She has an L.L.B. from the University of Nairobi and over four years experience in both civil and criminal law.


denisDennis Hombe - IT Specialist

Dennis’ role is to implement Information Technology policies for improving the efficiency of our programs. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Information Systems (IS). He has had 5 years of experience in IT at various institutions. Dennis tutors Mathematics at an Orphanage - Joseph Kang’ethe Children’s Home.
