Launch of CREAW 2008-2012 Strategic Plan, and Reports CREAW successfully launched its Strategic Plan in addition to a three reports on Post Election Conflict, Constitution Making and Wife Inheritance, on 3rd October 2008 at its new offices. His Excellency Nicholas Martin Cinto - Spanish Ambassador to Kenya graced the event. Several other dignitaries were present. The launched publications include: 1. Expanding Frontiers for Women's rights in Kenya: CREAW Strategic Plan 2008-2012 The Plan highlights adjustments required to implement activities that are aligned to CREAW's mission that is geared to transform society by empowering women and expanding new frontiers for women's rights and freedoms.

One Million Signature Campaign The one Million signature campaign to push for affirmative action was officially launched on 25th May, 2007 - Nairobi on African Women's Day organized by CREAW at Railway Club Grounds, Nairobi. It was incumbent on each of the over 10,000 that were present to ensure that they sign the petitions which were distributed at the venue of the meeting to enable the same be used a lobbying tool for enactment of legislation on affirmative action.
